My Patients and Their Smiles
I find dentistry to be a unique profession. As a dentist, I developed close and long-lasting relationships with people. At the very least I may have seen them twice a year. But often treatment takes place over long periods of time. Because of the intimate space in which we work, patients developed a deep level of trust. It is essential to respect and value that trust, fostering it and encouraging it. Doing so helped my patients understand I was available and wanted to help them. I always enjoyed my conversations with patients and the personal interactions we’ve had.
I have a background in art and have always been drawn to the aesthetic component of dentistry. Being able to restore a person to best function, while at the same time giving them a beautiful healthy smile, is very rewarding. It’s amazing to see how a healthy, confident, and radiant smile boosts a person’s self-esteem.
Our practice has always felt like a family. Because my partner is also my husband, we have created an environment where our team members feel comfortable with us. The patients pick up on the fact that all of us work together, and that puts each person at ease.
Education and Continuing Education
- Undergraduate, The Ohio State University and Long Island University
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery, New York University College of Dentistry
I actively pursue continuing education throughout the year. This keeps me fresh and informed. Every time I take a class it renews my excitement in that area. There is always something new to learn, whether it’s a procedure or technique, or a revolutionary technology. Continuing education recharges my professional batteries.
I’m a member of the ITI Manhattan Study Club and have completed advanced endodontic training at Boston University. I’ve also completed multiple courses in Perio-Prosthetics at The Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and a variety of classes through the New York County Dental Society.

I grew up in Woodmere on Long Island and have lived in Great Neck since I met Dr. Blondman in 1981. We raised our three sons there.
Our oldest, Max, just graduated from Dental School and is a resident at the Manhattan VA hospital. He will be joining the practice soon. Max has brought a lovely daughter-in-law, Sabrina, into our lives.
Our middle son, Evan, recently moved to Los Angeles. He’s been involved with the food service industry since graduating from The Ohio State University. One of our favorite things is cooking together for the holidays!
Spencer, our youngest son, has worked in Human Resources and recruiting positions. He’s currently working for the NFL and is hoping it will be a long-term position.
Our family is rounded out by our rescue cat, Milo and a new addition, a puppy named Keiko.
